Rodriguez hails Miss SVG show a success

Head of the Beauty Shows Committee (BSC) of the Carnival Development Corporation (CDC) Cheryl Rodriguez says that the BSC is satisfied that they presented one of the best Miss SVG shows ever.
In a recent press release, Rodriguez commented, "the introductory appearance was impressive, historical and educational. The swimsuits made by Pinky's Creations and the cover-ups by Dwight Thomas were sensational and superb. The talents were engaging, inspiring and well executed. The evening gowns segment was entitled 'Enticing Temptations' and that segment was spectacular and enchanting. The interviews were handled well and close to flawless".
Rodriguez added that the guest and featured artistes presented powerful and entertaining performances while the MCs LaFerne Fraser and Alex Barnwell did a fine job.
"Overall the package of Miss SVG 2016 was lively and captivating. The attendance at the park was excellent, as we saw one of the largest crowds in years at Miss SVG", noted Rodriguez in her post show press release.
She added, "congratulations to all winners and queens in Miss SVG 2016. The best dressed Male was Keido Kamara Foster of Green Hill and the best dressed Female was Janella Osment of Sandy Bay".
She noted that the Beauty Shows Committee award for Most Improved Contestant went to Raneasha Loraine Miss Play 4, the Beauty Shows Committee award for attendance at training sessions was given to Vakeesha John Miss Agricultural Input Warehouse Limited and the Best Community Support on Road Trips Awards went to Vakeesha John of Layou, Miss Agricultural Input Warehouse Limited, Shanique Alexander of San Souci, Miss Bank of SVG Limited and Jeanetta Richards of Calliaqua, Miss Jergens.
The Little Vanloo, Richard Munroe award for Most Community Spirited went to Vakeesha John, Miss Agricultural Input Warehouse Ltd while Miss Congeniality and Miss Photogenic awards went to Anya Frederick, Miss St Vincent Electricity Services Ltd.
The four judged appearances saw Miss FLOW Nikianna Williams taking the top points for Best in Swimwear, Best in Evening Wear and Best Interview.
Best Talent went to Zenna Lewis Miss Lotto.
Miss SVG 2016 is Miss FLOW Nikianna Williams, the first runner-up is Jeanetta Richards Miss Jergens and the second runner-up is Anya Frederick Miss St Vincent Electricity Services Ltd.
