Lampkin takes Miss North Leeward crown

Miss Chateaubelair Ronella Lampkin took the 2016 Miss North Leeward crown in the wee hours of Saturday morning at the Petit Bordel hard court.
Lampkin who gained the judges' nod from a group consisting of five other young ladies also won the Best in Swimwear category and the Best in Interview segment of the competition.
In second place was Miss Vermont Nelisa Parsons who was the Best in Evening Wear and the Best in Talent. She was also given an award for being the most disciplined contestant and was also the Facebook People's Choice award winner.
Third place went to Miss Fitz-Hughes Nekeisha James. James was also the most photogenic and the most community spirited contestant.
Miss Barrouallie Cheris Roberts was Miss Congeniality while the other contestants were Miss Layou Breanna George and Miss Petit Bordel Mollisa Bowens.
The Carnival activities were organised by the North Leeward Sports and Culture Association.
