GHS does hat-trick in junior pan competition

The St Vincent Girls' High School (GHS) are the winners of the schools' category of the 2016 St. Vincent Electricity Services (VINLEC) Junior Panorama Competition.
The GHS completed a hat-trick on Sunday June 26th at Victoria Park with the song 'Musical Ride' by Johnny Rebel. GHS is also the winner of the Hairoun Band Party competition.

The competition which was being held for the 25th time saw in second place, the CW Prescod Primary School with 'Back off' by 'Touch' and in third place the St Joseph's Convent Kingstown (SJCK) with 'Tabanca' by 'Tommy T'.

Musical Director of the GHS group Johnny Pompey commented after winning, "It feel really, really, good".

The other schools in the competition were the Troumaca Government School with 'Touch's' 'Puss Man', the Bethel High School will do 'Don't Rub Up On Me So' from 'Rebels', the South Rivers Methodist School with 'Love Is The Answer' from Alston 'Becket' Cyrus, the Sandy Bay Primary School with 'Carnival Hot' from St. Clair Lewis and the Marriaqua Government School with 'My Love' from Kevin Lyttle.
